For the most part, the class aspect of going to college was not too bad. My class was interesting and not too hard. The teacher always had a story to relate the information to real life. To me, this class was a little too easy. It didn't seem like a real representation of a college class, but it may have been. The subject may have just come easily to me. The other students in the class (non-summer scholars) were okay. For the most part, many of them were nice and inviting. However, there were a few students that were rude and disrespectful to us scholars. They seemed jealous that they did not have the experience we have under their belts. Except for this minor thing, the class overall was okay.

Job Shadow

When I grow up I want to be an emergency room doctor or an allergist. I went to job shadow a family doctor on monday evening. The doctor I went to shadow had no idea I was supposed to come to shadow her. So it took her a while to decide what to do. First she had me play games on the computer while she went to see a patient. Then for the next few patients I got to follow her and watch. The shadow was okay, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted to do and it didn't turn out exactly like I wanted, but it's okay. It's nice to have done another shadow.
